A) In situation I evaporation is used Evaporation is the process by which a liquid absorbs heat and gets converted to vapour. In situation 2 filtration is used :
filtration is the process of separating the constituent particles of a mixture using a sieve.
B) The untreated wastewater in septic tank con-tain pathogens and harmful substances which directly get into the well water. This will contaminate the well water. Therefore septic tank should be at least 7.5 meters away from the well.

B) A bar magnet is placed on a piece of thermocol in a vessel with water. It was ob-served that the direction of the bar magnet changed along with the thermocol. Why? Explain.

Thermocol IS continuously moving along with the waves that produced in water. Therefore the direction of the bar magnet changed along with the thennocol. When a magnet come to rest then it rest in the north, South direction, otherwise its direction changes
