Sub: Letter of Appreciation Respected Madam,
My name is Balan, and I am a student of class 6. My history teacher recently showed us your incredible photographs, and I was absolutely mesmerized! It is so cool that you were India’s first female photojoumalist. Your pictures of the first flag hoisting and of leaders like Pandit Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi are like a real-life history book! They make me feel like I am standing right there in the past.
I am so impressed by how brave you were to capture those important moments when hardly any woman was doing that kind of work. Your photos are not just pictures; they tell great, fascinating stories.
Thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us. You are a true legend!
Sincerely,
Balan

Answer:
William is a true inventor from Malawi, Africa. When a terrible famine hit his village, his family couldn’t afford to send him to school, but William never stopped trying to learn. He visited the local library and found a science book, which sparked an incredible idea: building a machine to help his community.
Using pictures from the book, William gathered junk old bicycle parts, plastic pipe, and scrap metal—to build his creation. People thought he was crazy, but William was determined. After many failures, he successfully built a tall wind turbine that generated electricity! William’s first windmill gave his family light, meaning they no longer needed expensive kerosene lamps. Later, he built a bigger one that could pump water, which helped his family grow food even during dry seasons. His work showed everyone that with curiosity and hard work, a great idea can change many lives.

She worked during the time when India was fighting for and gaining its independence. She captured many historical moments and took famous pictures of leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
Homai Vyarawalla was known by her special pen name, Dalda 13. She chose this name because the number 13 was significant to her: she was bom in 1913, met her husband when she was 13, and her car’s license plate was “DLD 13”. Answer:
The summer was very hot that year. Almost all the ponds, wells and lakes were dry. Water was hard to find. A crow was very thirsty and she was trying to get some water to drink. She flew here and there looking for water. But nowhere could she find it. Finally she saw ajar which contained some water. But water level in the jar was too low and the beaks of the crow could not reach the water. The crow was sad that it could not get the water.
But she was an intelligent crow and she thought of ways to get this water. Soon she saw some pebbles lying around. The crow picked a pebble and dropped it in the jar. She continued dropping more pebbles till the water level in the jar rose. Now the crow could easily drink the water. The crow drank as much water as she needed and flew away fully satisfied. With intelligence we can do many things.
