Everybody wants to be successful in life. Each one has a dream. My dream is to become a teacher. I want to be a teacher because I love my teacher and I want to be like him. He gets love and respect from all the students. Even the parents of the students and the local people respect him. I am inspired by him. A teacher has a big responsibility. They say that a child’s mind is like a clean slate. Whatever is written on that slate will remain with him for his life. It is the teachers that write the most on that slate. Thus teachers mould people’s character. Ours is the largest country and the number one democracy in the world. But unfortunately, there is a lot of unemployment and poverty in our country. There is also a lot of intolerance here. People fight and kill in the name of religion, region, language and isms. This should not happen. We all are children of Mother India and we should all work for her welfare. For that we need citizens who are dedicated, disciplined, hard working and tolerant. By becoming a teacher I will teach my students how to be good citizens working for the welfare not only of their people and country but the whole humanity.
