Summary of the poem (കവിതയുടെ സംഗ്രഹം)
“Get Together” എന്ന കവിത എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യർക്കുമിടയിൽ സ്നേഹത്തിനും സമാധാനത്തിനും ഐക്യത്തിനുമുള്ള (unity) ലളിതവും ശക്തവുമായ ഒരു ആഹ്വാനമാണ്. നമ്മൾ തിരഞ്ഞ ടുക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാണ് സ്നേഹമെന്നും, ഭയം നമ്മെ നാശത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്ന വിനാശകരമായ ശക്തിയാണെന്നുമാണ് ഇതിലെ പ്രധാന ആശയം. എല്ലാ ഭിന്നതകളും മറികടന്ന്, “ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേരാൻ” (get together), നമ്മുടെ “സഹോദരങ്ങളെ നോക്കി പുഞ്ചിരിക്കാൻ, പരസ്പരം സ്നേ ഹിക്കാൻ ഉടൻ ശ്രമിക്കാനും ഈ കവിത നമ്മോട് അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
