Bob Dylan is a very popular American singer, and song writer. ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ is considered to be the anthem of the American Civil Rights Movement. Dylan had won the Nobel Prize in 2016.
‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ is a protest song of the oppressed. The song urges the oppressed to wake up, realise their dignity and stand against oppression and exploitation. The poem is so full of questions and answers. This series of questions and answers create a great inspiring mood. The poet asks how much more distance a man will have to walk before he becomes a completely independent individual. Likewise a white dove sails many seas before she is sheltered in the shore. Though the cannons are firing at present, before long they will be silenced.
The answers to the questions are there in the wind which means that messages of the revolt has spread far and wide. Freedom is very near at hand. The poem is so inspiring and motivating. Man walking, white dove sailing and cannon ball flying are examples of visual images.

On the other hand when we get rain in cats and dogs, our crops are destroyed by torrential rains or washed away In either case, our nation suffers. Our farmers pray fervently for normal rains – neither too much nor too little. Its is not possible to control the monsoons by any scientific means. All our scientific knowledge fell flat here.

Prepare a write-up on which Satyajit Ray describes the obstacles he had to face while shooting with the tiger.
Answer:
Shooting with animals is by no means an easy job. It requires a lot of tact and patience. Such animal actors excellently perform their roles in Hollywood. The Alsatian named Rin- tin-tin and the collie called Lassie are memorable heroes. But such experts are very rare in our country, India. So during the 2nd film of mine ‘Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne’ I was in a dilemma. I needed a tiger. The two main characters Goopy and Bagha had their first meeting in a bamboo grove in front of a tiger. We contacted the Bharat Circus and made arrangements to hire a tiger. Mr. Thorat, the ringmaster agreed to bring the tiger to the location in a truck.
On the day of the shot, Mr. Thorat arrived at the location with two robust and well fed tigers. The shooting was at a bamboo grove in Notun Gram. For safety, a collar was draped over the neck of the tiger to which a strong but thin string was tied. The other end of the string was tied to the iron rode buried in the earth. But when the door of the cage was opened, the tiger sprang out and violently rushed at the onlookers. Instead of walking seriously in a sedate manner, it leapt, jumped and rolled about. Mr. Thorat was at his wits end. It s nothing but a strange kind of circus. After a long time the tiger calmed down and we shot what we wanted.
But later, when we looked at the scenes, we found out that light was very poor and the scenes were to be shot again. The matter was informed to Mr. Thorat and this time the location was changed to Boral. So everything was arranged again. This time too the tiger emerged out with a roar when the door was opened. The crowd consisting of 150 people melted away and it was so convenient for us to shoot the scenes. The tiger pacified and obeyed the trainer this time like an obedient dog.

My dear friend,
Sorry to have delayed my reply. Here I’m enjoying my vacation to the maximum. How many times did I ask you to come with me. It would have been so great if you had turned up.
I’m writing this letter to inform you about a strange incident. As you know I spent most of my time in and around the banyan tree. Grandfather has a pet white rat which he has bought from the bazaar for four anas. I had the parctice of taking him to the banyan tree. There he developed a great friendship with a grey squirrel. They used to go off together on little excursions among the branches. Then one day I detected the nest the squirrel had made. On further investigation I found out that there were three baby squirrels inside, all of them pure white.
My grandfather was very confident that they were the children of the white rat. How can it be? Anyway the incident had created a great sensation in the house. With the vacation nearing to the end, I’m so sad at heart. Hope you will accompany me in the next vacation.
Hoping to see you soon,
Yours lovingly,
