The World of Humour Class 7 Question Answer

Question 1.
Do you think the cabman is a good detective? Why?
Answer:
I don’t think the cabman is a good detective. He saw the name “Conan Doyle” written on his luggage and that was why he called the writer by his name.

Question 2.
Who did the conductor put off the train? Why?
Answer:
The conductor put off the train an American, who did not want to get down at Dijon. The conductor thought the man he put off was Mark Twain who wanted to be put off at Dijon.

Question 3.
Why did it take Albert Einstein so long to speak?
Answer:
It took Albert Einstein so long to speak because everything was right up to the time of supper that day when he found the soup was too hot. So there was no need for him to speak.

Do you think everything was alright till Einstein complained about the soup?
Answer:
I don’t think everything was alright till Einstein complained about the soup. He did not speak because his speaking faculties had not developed properly before that.

Answer:
Once, my parents took me to see an exhibition. I was just seven years old. The exhibition was very interesting to my parents as so many household gadgets were exhibited there. People were explaining how to use them and maintain them and my parents were listening to them with attention. My attention was mainly at the stall where they sold burghers. I slowly moved away from my parents and went near the stall. A family with 4 children came to the stall to buy burghers. I was standing close to the children. The father of the children ordered six burghers. The man in the stall gave him the first one. I was standing near the children. Without looking back, the man put the burgher in my hand. I immediately started munching it. The man in the stall gave him the remaining 5, one by one. The man went on placing them in the hands of his children and his wife. When the man in the stall stopped giving him burghers, the father of the children asked for the 6th burgher. The man in the stall said he had given him 6. It was then his wife told him that he first burgher he took was given to a strange boy who was standing there. She saw the desire in my eyes and she just kept quiet. I enjoyed the burgher.

So, her mother asked her instead of sitting in the room and looking at the screen of her laptop, she should go out for a change. Outside there are so many nice things to see – the trees and the birds and squirrels on them, different plants, flowers, bees, butterflies, the cattle grazing and the children in the neighbourhood playing different games and so on.
This girl goes out with her laptop and again she opens it. What does she see? She seems the same things which she saw when she as inside the room. Her mother wanted her to close her laptop and go out and enjoy the sights and sounds outside. But she goes with her laptop and looks into it and sees the same things she saw when she was inside.
