The reasons for the difference between balance as per cash book and passbooks. Several reasons contribute to the disagreement of the balance as shown by the cash book and pass book. They are as under:
1. Cheques issued but not presented for payment:
When the trader issues a cheque, he credits its amount immediately in his cash book. The same will be entered in the passbook only on presenting the cheque and making payment by the bank. If the cheque is not presented for payment before the date of preparation of the bank reconciliation statement, the balance as per Pass Book will be more than the balance as per Cash Book.

2. Cheque paid in for collection but not collected:
On depositing cheques into the bank for collection, the trader debits the same amount in I the bank account. The bank credits the amount in the passbook only to get the amount collected. Such uncleared cheques make the cash book balance to be more than the passbook balance.

3. Direct payment by a customer to the bank:
Customers of the trader occasionally make some payments directly into the trader’s bank account. The trader may come to know of an only later. But the banker gives immediate credit to the trader on receipt of the amount. If it remains unrecorded in the cash book, the balance as per the passbook will be more than the balance as per the cash book.

4. Interest on deposit credited by the banker:
At regular intervals, banks allow interest on the deposit balance of the trader and credit the amount in the passbook. The same usually remains unrecorded in the cash book. In such a case, the passbook balance will be more than the cash book balance.

5. Interest, dividend, rent, etc. collected by the bank:
The bank collects interest, dividends, rent etc. on behalf of the customer and credits the same to his account. The trader comes to know of it only on a later date. If such collection remains unrecorded in the cash book, the passbook balance will be more than the cash book balance.

6. Payment made on behalf of the customer:
The banker makes payments for rent, insurance, etc., for the customer as per standing instructions. The banker debits the trader’s account with such payments. 7. Bank charges as per Pass Book:

‘कहना नहीं आता’ एक प्रतीकात्मक कविता है । यह आधुनिक काव्य-शैली की कविता है । इसके कवि सुप्रसिद्ध हिंदी कवि पवन करण हैं ।

भारतीय समाज के लगभग 80 प्रतिशत (ശതമാനം) लोग हाशिए पर जीनेवाले हैं। वे शोषित और उपेक्षित हैं। वे अपनी पीड़ा और व्यथा मौन सहती हैं। वे अपनी बात कहना चाहते हैं, लेकिन उसे कहने का अवसर नहीं दिया जाता है। वे अपने संघर्ष कहने की कोशिश (ചരിശ്രമം) करते हैं, तो दुत्कारते हुए (ചീത്ത പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്) कहा जाता है ‘तुम्हें कहना कहाँ आता है ।’ उनसे यह चेतावनी दी जाती है ‘जाओ पहले कहना सीखकर आओ। तब आ अपनी बात कहना।’ कवि कहते हैं कि कवि भी इन बेचारों में से एक है जो कहना चाहते हैं, लेकिन चुप रहते हैं ।

‘कहना नहीं आता’ भारत के विविधता भरे समाज के एक बड़ा भाग, जो शोषित और उपेक्षित है, उसका प्रतिनिधित्व करती है । कविता की भाषा सरल है, लेकिन प्रतीकात्मकता के कारण सशक्त है। छोटी कविता द्वारा बड़े यथार्थ को कवि ने प्रस्तुत किया है। भाषा प्रवाहमयी एवं साधारण जनता की समझ की है। कविता प्रासंगिक (സന്ദർഭോചിതമായത്) है। शीर्षक अत्यन्त प्रभावमय है ।

बच्चे ओस की बूँदों की तरह एकदम शुद्ध और पवित्र होते हैं। वे कल के नागरिक हैं, लेकिन दुःख की बात है कि बच्चों को अनुशासन के नाम पर तमाम बंदिशों में रहना पड़ता है । आठ वर्षीय ईशान अवस्थी (दर्शील सफ़ारी) का मन पढ़ाई के बजाय कुत्तों, मछलियों और पेटिंग में लगता है। उसके माता-पिता चाहते हैं कि वह अपनी पढ़ाई पर ध्यान दे, लेकिन कोई नतीजा नहीं निकलता। ईशान घर पर माता — -पिता की डाँट खाता है और स्कूल में शिक्षकों की । कोई भी यह जानने की कोशिश नहीं करता कि ईशान पढ़ाई पर ध्यान क्यों नहीं दे रहा है। इसके बजाय वे ईशान को बोर्डिंग स्कूल भेज देते हैं।

खिलखिलाता ईशान वहाँ जाकर मुरझा जाता है। वह हमेशा सहमा और उदास रहने लगता है। उस पर निगाह जाती है आर्ट टीचर रामशंकर निकुंभ ( आमिर ख़ान ) की । निकुंभ उसकी उदासी का पता लगाते हैं और उन्हें पता चलता है कि ईशान बहुत प्रतिभाशाली, लेकिन डिसलेक्सिया की बीमारी से पीड़ित है। उसे अक्षरों को पढ़ने में तकलीफ़ होती है। अपने प्यार और दुलार से निकुंभ ईशान के अंदर छिपी प्रतिभा को सबके सामने लाते हैं।

कहानी सरल है, जिसे आमिर ख़ान ने बेहद प्रतिभाशाली तरीके से परदे पर उतारा है। पटकथा की बुनावट एकदम चुस्त है। छोटे-छोटे भावनात्मक दृश्य रखे गए हैं, जो सीधे दिल को छू जाते हैं । ईशान का स्कूल से भागकर सड़कों पर घूमना, ताज़ा हवा में साँस लेना, बिल्डिंग के कलर होते देखना, फ़ुटपाथ पर रहनेवाले बच्चों को आज़ादी से खेलते देखकर उदास होना, बरफ़ का लड्डू खाना जैसे दृश्यों को देख कई लोगों को बचपन की याद ताज़ा हो जाएगी। सभी बच्चों का दिमाग और सीखने की क्षमता एक-सी- नहीं होती । फ़िल्म देखते समय हर दर्शक इस बात को महसूस करता है ।

ईशान की भूमिका में दर्शील सफ़ारी इस फ़िल्प की जान है । अमीर ख़ान मध्यांतर में आते हैं और छा जाते हैं। टिस्का चोपड़ा (ईशान की मम्मी) ने एक में की बेचैनी को उम्दा तरीके से पेश किया है। विपिन शर्मा (ईशान के पापा), सचेत इंजीनियर और सारे अध्यापकों का अभिमय भी अच्छा है। प्रसून जोशी द्वारा लिखे गीत बहुत कुछ कहते हैं और परदे पर उनको देखते समय उनका प्रभाव और बढ़ जाता है । शंकर-अहसान- लाय का संगीत भी अच्छा है। फ़िलम की फोटोग्राफी बहुत ही प्रभावशाली हैं ।

इस युग का सबसे प्रभावी आविष्कार है कम्प्यूटर । इसका उपयोग इतना अधिक हो गया है कि खेती से लेकर व्यापार, व्यवसाय, यातायात, प्रसार, कारखाने, अस्पताल, विध्यालय या लगभग सभी क्षेत्रों में कम्प्यूटर अनिवार्य बन गया है। आज समय और दूरी को कम करना हमारा जीवन लक्ष्य है तो वहाँ कम्प्यूटर सहायक बनता है। खेती के क्षेत्र में भी नई नई बीज से लेकर, फसल के संरक्षण तक कम्प्यूटर के सहायता से होते हैं। माध्यमों के उपयोग भी आज कम्प्यूटर के सहायता से बढ गया है, यानि हम सभी क्षेत्रों में कम्प्यूटर की सदुपयोग कर सकते हैं।

आज ज्ञान का, भंड़ार है कम्प्यूटर, वह किसी भी क्षेत्र के बारे में, जीवों के बारे में, जगहों के बारे में, संस्कृतियों के बारे में, इतिहास, तकनीक, जिकित्सा, शास्त्र आदि विभिन्न विधाओं को अपने अंदर समेट लिया है। इसलिए अब एक गुरु का स्थान देने को भी लोग तैयार होते हैं। हर सिक्के के दो पहलु होते हैं । यहाँ भी बात अलग नहीं है। इतना सदुपयोग हेनेवाला इसका दुरुपयोग भी हो रहा है। विशेषकर युवा पीढ़ी में – इसको ठीक तरह से इस्तेमाल नहीं तो यह इतना खतरनाक बन जायेगा कि सर्वनाश हो जायेगा। सभी क्षेत्रों में सही के बजाय गलत कामों केलिए यह प्रयुक्त कर सकते हैं। जानकारी अच्छा नहीं हो तो नतीजा भी बुरा होगा । छात्र, इसके जाल में आसानी से फँस जाते हैं। इसलिए हमें सतर्कता से काम करना चाहिए । मन में पूरा विश्वास होना चाहिए कि इसका सदुपयोग ही हो । माता पिता को छोत्रों को इस सिलसिले में सहायता करना है । आवश्यक तौर पर निरीक्षण भी होना चाहिए । ठीक तरह से उपयोग करने पर किसी भी आविष्कार समाज के हित केलिए उपयुक्त कर सकते हैं। कम्प्यूटर भी इसके अलग नहीं है । इसलिए हमें प्रतीज्ञा लेना है कि इसका सदुपयोग ही हो ।

यह तो तय हुआ तो यह कैसे संभव होगा। हमें कुछ बातों पर ज़रूर ध्यान देना हैं । इन बातों में प्रमुख है संतुलित भोजन | संतुलित भोजन से तात्पर्य है कि हमारे शरीर के लिए आवश्यक भोजन सामग्रियाँ संतुलित मात्र में सही वक्त पर खाना । किसी एक ही प्रकार के भोजन से यह संभव नहीं होगा। दाना, फल, तरकारी, दूध आदि सभी प्रकार के भोजन हमारे लिए आवश्यक है। दूसरे बात है कि आवश्यक मात्रा में खाना । उम्र, मौसम, कामकाज आदि के अनुसार मात्रा में बदलाव लाना ज़रूरी है। उदाहरण के लिए खेतों में कठिन मेहनत करने वालों की मात्रा एक दफ्तर में कठिन काम करने वाले को नहीं चाहिए। उसी प्रकार उम्र बढ़ने के साथ भोजन की मात्रा कम करना ज़रूरी है। तीसरी बात है कि सही वक्त पर खाना है । अर्थात् हमारे शरीर को खाद्य पदार्थों की सही रूप में उपयुक्त करने के अंतराल देना है।

अगले प्रमुख बात स्वच्छ पर्यावरण से हैं। प्रदूषित पर्यावरण जीवन बिताने पर स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ने की संभावना ज्यादा है। पानी, वायु, ध्वनि आदि प्रदूषणों को काम करना बहुत ज़रूरी है। शहरों में प्रदूषण की मात्रा बड़ने के कारण वहाँ लोगों के स्वास्थ्य में बुरे असर हो रहे हैं।

अंतिम और ज़रूरी बात हैं आवश्यक व्यायाम और मनोरंजन । आधुनिक समाज में लोग अधिक व्यस्त होते जा रहे है। आवश्यक व्यायाम करने के लिए उन्हें समय नहीं मिल रहे हैं। योगा, खेलकूद, कराते, दौड़ना, तैरना आदि विविध प्रकार के व्यायामें के ज़रिये हमें अपने शरीर को तंदुरुस्त बनाये रखना है। इसमें योगा एक संपूर्ण व्यायाम है क्योंकि यह केवल शरीर को नहीं मन को भी बड़ी लाभदायक हैं। क्योंकि मन के स्वास्थ्य भी शरीर के स्वास्थ्य के लिए अनिवार्य हैं। तन और मन की स्वास्थ्य बनाये रखने से जीवन सफल हो जायेगा ।
